"Brian has spent the last 15 years cultivating strong customer relationships and delivering consistent results in the Southeast, so his addition gives our business development team an instant boost," said Daniel Baldwin, president of Engent. "I have no doubt Brian will prove to be invaluable to Engent's business development efforts by leveraging his expertise, along with our compelling value proposition, for companies looking for electronic manufacturing services."
Spratt's background includes more than 28 years of experience in sales and business development. At his most recent job, Spratt's sales were on pace to triple year-over-year performance numbers. His extensive experience makes Spratt a vital hire for Engent as the company intends to grow its high tech, high touch contract-manufacturing services for small-, mid-, and large-sized companies throughout the Southeast.
In addition to his experience as a technical sales professional, Spratt has familiarity with supply chain management and logistics as well as manufacturing supervision. Among his many achievements are sales representative of the year in 2003 at GROUP 2000. And during his tenure at a large electronics components distributor, Spratt helped the company's Southeast region grow its gross profit 28 percent in a fiscal year while also winning accounts worth more than $1 million. Brian graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a Bachelor of Technology in industrial engineering.
