Engineering and Management Consulting Firm Herren Associates Awarded Contract to Support NATO Consortium

WASHINGTON, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Herren Associates, Inc. ("Herren"), a leading engineering and management consulting firm, has been awarded a $3.7 million contract to provide support for the NATO SeaSparrow Project Office (NSPO).

NSPO serves as the executive agent for a multinational Consortium responsible for managing the acquisition and in-service support of multiple ship self-defense missiles and combat systems, including the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM).

The contract, issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command, covers a full range of services including cost engineering, process improvement, logistics, acquisition, and financial management.  The period of performance runs through February 2016.
