Enterasys to Present on Social Business Best Practices at Dreamforce 2012
Thought leadership session to focus on how organizations can implement social technologies to accelerate their business and improve customer service
ANDOVER, Mass., Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company, today announced Chief Customer Officer Vala Afshar (Twitter: @ValaAfshar) will be presenting a High Tech Kickoff session entitled "Social Business from Vision to Value" at the Salesforce Dreamforce 2012 Conference, which is taking place September 18 - 21, 2012 in San Francisco, Calif. During the presentation, Afshar, who is coauthor of the upcoming book "The Pursuit of Social Business Excellence," will be discussing best practices for building out a Social Campus to increase company collaboration and improve customer service.

- How to conduct Social Sales Forecasting
- Implementing Social into your customer service experience
- How to reduce the Consumption Gap in your use of technology
As part of the presentation, Afshar will detail the results of an upcoming CIO study conducted by renowned IT consultant Michael Krigsman on the benefits of implementing a Social Campus. In the study, Krigsman interviews 10 CIO's from higher education institutions who have demonstrated thought leadership in the way they have implemented social, mobile and cloud technologies across their organizations.
