NEW ORLEANS, March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entergy Louisiana, LLC announced today that on April 19, 2010, (the "Redemption Date") it will redeem all $150,000,000 principal amount of its outstanding First Mortgage Bonds, 7.60% Series due April 1, 2032, (the "Bonds") at the redemption price of 100 percent of the principal amount thereof (the "Redemption Price") plus accrued interest to but excluding the Redemption Date. The Bonds are listed on the New York Stock Exchange and trade under the symbol EHL.

On the Redemption Date, the Redemption Price together with accrued interest to but excluding the Redemption Date shall become due and payable on each Bond, and on and after the Redemption Date the Bonds shall cease to bear interest. Payment of the Redemption Price and accrued interest will be made on or after the Redemption Date upon presentation and surrender of the Bonds to The Bank of New York Mellon.
