In 2012, ADCOLOR is making additional strides to empower professionals at every stage of their careers with programs designed to arm them with what they need to remain in their respective industries. The first program is ADCOLOR University®, an extensive training program intended for agencies and individuals. The thinking behind the program is that continued growth is essential at every level. The program teaches entry and mid-level professionals to take control of their own career paths. For more senior professionals, the belief is that even the most successful person can learn, be inspired and share their knowledge. In partnership with training powerhouse, Global Novations, ADCOLOR University, will offer six classes for two modules in 2012 titled "Managing Inclusion™ and Efficacy for Professionals™."
"At ADCOLOR, we inspire people to get excited about advertising, marketing, media and PR, but we also want to make sure they have all the tools they need to be successful for years to come, regardless of where he/she is in their career. There is simply always more to learn—I learn every single day. We also want to promote retention, one of the bigger obstacles we face in these industries," Tiffany R. Warren, President of ADCOLOR and Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer for Omnicom Group Inc. explains.
In addition to the organizations' new training program, 2012 brings the launch of ADCOLOR® FUTURES. In partnership with ADCOLOR® Diversity Summit (ADS) member organizations and McCann Worldgroup, the program will offer two students and/or young professionals from recognized industry diversity programs the a chance to attend—and receive an insider experience at—key ADCOLOR events throughout the weekend and year.
This group of students and young professionals will be the first class of ADCOLOR FUTURES and will attend The ADCOLOR Awards & Industry Conference and related events. The ADCOLOR FUTURES Fund is sponsored by McCann Worldgroup and The Home Depot.
The ADCOLOR Awards & Industry Conference is the organization's annual flagship event. This year, the three-day event will be held from October 18th through the 20th at The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
