Enterprise Model Featured at the Annual Clinton Global Initiative Meeting

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - On Wednesday, September 25th, the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (the Enterprise Partnership) will be featured at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting held in New York City.  CGI convenes global leaders to create and implement innovative solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

During the afternoon session on Wednesday, September 25^th, a public screening of the Enterprise Partnership's short film on the Distribution Enterprise Model - "Chakipi Acceso" will be showcased.  This short film captures the untold story of one of the Enterprise Partnership's beneficiaries - in particular, a young, unemployed, and disadvantaged woman, Carina, who lives in a very remote and poverty-stricken region of Apurimac, Peru.

Debra Kellner, a National Geographic photographer, traveled across Cusco to rural Apurimac, Peru to document the social impact that the Enterprise Partnership has made on Carina and thousands of other disadvantaged women. The Enterprise Partnership has been redefining their approach for several years and believes there is great potential to enhance the economic and social benefits of marginalized communities by incorporating these individuals into one of their three "market-driven" models - Distribution Enterprises, Supply Chain Enterprises, and Training Center Enterprises.  Frank Giustra, founder of the Enterprise Partnership, stated, "the simplicity of our model is not only straight-forward but logical."

The Training Center Enterprises support a range of employability programs aimed at improving the livelihoods for thousands of disadvantaged youth around the world.  The Training Center Enterprise prepares and places youth in quality jobs by providing them with the specific competencies and skill sets that target high-growth sectors of industries that offer quality entry-level positions.
