Entrepreneur and CultureIQ® Invite Businesses to Apply to 2015 Top Company Cultures List
IRVINE, Calif., June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspired by the success of companies ranging from Zappos to The Container Store, high-value workplace culture has become an increasing priority among entrepreneurs eager to fuel productivity, scale growth and raise brand power. In celebration of all the high-performance cultures that are exceeding employee expectations, Entrepreneur.com, the most widely used website by business owners and entrepreneurs, has partnered with culture management software provider CultureIQ® to develop their first, annual Top Company Cultures list.
Participating companies have the opportunity to gain recognition with placement on the list, which will be published on Entrepreneur.com. Companies featured will also be considered for additional coverage on the leading business site to impart core insights and practices to its millions of online readers.
To be considered for the ranking, a company must have at least 25 employees, have been founded before Jan. 1, 2014, and be headquartered in the U.S. There is no cost to participate and everyone will receive a complimentary overview report to help them better understand and strengthen their company culture.
"Company culture is such an important component of how a business operates that when honed can contribute to improved employee engagement, efficiency and profits," says Ray Hennessey, editorial director of Entrepreneur.com. "Knowing the behaviors and attributes of the top companies that are doing it right can help others shape their own workplace environments."
"Given the shifting priorities of today's workforce, a strong culture is quickly proving to be a 'must-have' as opposed to a 'nice-to-have'," says CultureIQ founder and CEO Greg Besner. "Organizations are developing their company culture to attract, retain, and inspire employees. This program focuses on the ingredients of culture that make employees engaged and a company succeed."
Application Process:
Participating companies must have one representative register as the company administrator to apply and configure the CultureIQ employee survey. The survey, which includes 21 short, multiple-choice questions, will then be distributed via email to employees. Individual employee responses will be anonymous. The results will be used to calculate a company's CultureIQ score, a determining factor in the 2015 Top Company Cultures list to be featured on Entrepreneur.com.
