Hope's Donation Will Provide Scholarships To Phoenix-Area Youth Who Are Unable To Pay For Membership And Programs

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 28, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Scottsdale businessman Jason Hope is pleased to announce his donation to the Valley of the Sun YMCA's Strong Kids & Families Campaign.  The campaign provides scholarships to youth who cannot afford to pay for the Y's outstanding programs.  Hope's funds will allow economically challenged, inner-city-Phoenix kids the opportunity to enrich their lives at the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA branch.  

"The YMCA's programs have long provided education, workforce readiness, life skills and civic engagement for children and young adults; these are important building blocks for a healthy community.  I'm proud to support the Y and help build strong kids, strong families and a strong Phoenix-area community," said Jason Hope.
