Brenda Gray, 54, of Greenwood's Baptist Town Cottages, was awarded a $4,000 Homebuyer Equity Leverage Partnership (HELP) grant that was used toward her down payment. HELP grants are offered by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) through its members, including Planters Bank & Trust Company. The program provides grants to assist income-qualified, first-time homebuyers with down payments and closing costs on new or existing homes.
