Envision Solar Announces New CEO

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Envision Solar International, Inc., ("Envision Solar") (OTCBB: EVSI), a leading sustainable infrastructure product designer and developer, today announced that the founder of Envision Solar, Bob Noble, will be assuming the role of Executive Chairman while the current President and COO, Desmond Wheatley, has been appointed to succeed him as the new Chief Executive Officer.  Further, Chris Caulson has been appointed the company's Chief Financial Officer. These changes were effective August 10th, 2011.

Mr. Wheatley and Mr. Caulson have worked together for over a decade in both publically traded and privately held companies. Together they have led both international and domestic entities to significant growth.
