EPA Recognizes Burton Energy Group as 2013 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year
Burton Energy Group earns award for protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency
ALPHARETTA, Ga., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Burton Energy Group with a 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Service and Product Provider Award. This award recognizes Burton for its outstanding contributions in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by providing superior energy-efficient services to its customers. Burton's accomplishments will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 26, 2013.
Burton Energy Group, an ENERGY STAR partner since 2009, is being honored for its work in promoting services and products that meet ENERGY STAR guidelines for energy efficiency. Over the past year Burton has benchmarked more than 1,700 facilities in ENERGY STAR's Portfolio Manager, and its efforts have led to more than 400 buildings being ENERGY STAR labeled.
