Epic Health Services Names Chris Roussos President and COO

DALLAS, Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Epic Health Services, Inc. announced today that Chris Roussos has joined the company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Roussos brings extensive experience and a proven track record to his new role at Epic. He spent the past 13 years in senior executive positions with various health care companies.

Roussos comes to Epic Health Services from Harden Healthcare, where he served as COO and led 35,000 employees in 225 locations in six states. He oversaw Harden's operations, which cover geriatric skilled home health, hospice, community care, rehabilitation, pharmacy, nurse practitioner, long term care and assisted living services.

In his new role with Epic, Roussos will be responsible for the company's operations in Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Delaware. He will work closely with Diane McCollum and David Harbour, who were recently promoted to Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations and Senior Vice President, Operations, respectively.

Roussos started his professional career in the Army, where he served for 11 years.  He is an Army Ranger and served as a Platoon Leader, Infantry Battalion Staff Officer and Company Commander.  He is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program, earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix and received a BS from Clarkson University.
