"We couldn't be happier to have Penn join our Equity Concepts family," said Carter. "His knowledge, work ethic and attitude will not only enhance the client experience, but our firm as a whole."
Prior to joining Equity Concepts, Pendleton spent more than 16 years as a principal and director of Clark/Bardes. Over the span of his career, he's worked with banks and private and public companies to design and implement non-qualified retirement plans. He's been a member of the National Bankers Association, and in 2006, was the recipient of the Donald H. Alexander Trailblazer award for distinguished service to the minority-owned banking community.
"I feel blessed with the opportunity to share my skills with the Equity Concepts organization," said Pendleton. "Its philosophy and vision truly resonates with me and my own goals."
Outside of work, Pendleton enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He is an elder of Third Presbyterian Church and serves on boards, including CHAT (Church Hill Activities and Tutoring) and the national board of the Navigators.
