Erin Brockovich Hosting Community Meeting in Barstow to Answer Questions Regarding PG&E Chromium 6 Groundwater Contamination in Neighboring Hinkley, CA

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Erin Brockovich will be joined by her Chief Environmental Investigator Bob Bowcock for a community meeting in Barstow, California on Wednesday, January 12, 2011.

Brockovich and Bowcock will take questions and address community members growing concerns about a PG&E chromium 6 groundwater plume that is contaminating the community.

The latest chromium 6 contamination comes nearly fifteen years after PG&E was ordered to pay a $333 million settlement to Hinkley residents for polluting and covering up decades of chromium 6 groundwater poisoning in the community that sickened many people in the small town.
