Espresso Logic Lets Developers Create REST APIs for Data-Driven Apps that Bridge Big Data with SQL Data

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Espresso Logic announced today it is introducing new functionality that brings the worlds of big data and SQL data into one common REST API for developing the backend for web and mobile apps. These REST APIs provide real-time access from MongoDB and SQL databases without the need to copy data across sources. Unlike analytical use cases, security and business logic is included and can be used for both read and write operations.

The rise of big data has created silos of massive amounts of big data, which does not easily interface with existing relational data.
