FORT MYERS, Fla., March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- I Love Oils, Inc., a doTERRA essential oil distributor, is sponsoring a donation drive for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). The company is offering free essential oil samples to everyone who participates by donating a box of clothing, shoes, bedding and more. Donations can be dropped off during operating hours until April 1, 2017.
Peter and Susie Bagwell own I Love Oils, Inc., and have been donating to the National Kidney Foundation for 20 years. The cause has always been dear to Susie because her mother lost a kidney. Peter was diagnosed with Gout many years ago, and is also an advocate for the organization.
"When everything is working well internally," says Peter, "you don't really think too much about organizations like this who are doing research and providing valuable information to the public. But then when you do need the help, you become very grateful that someone got this all started and has been supporting the effort. It's made us want to give back, and hopefully keep it alive to help others in the future."
Helping people become aware of the importance of kidney issues through the NKF is not the Bagwell's only effort on the subject. They also teach classes about essential oils related to healthy kidney function. Essential oils such as Rosemary, Cilantro, and Juniper Berry, known for detoxifying properties, and other essentials oils like Tangerine and Geranium, which have purifying effects against unhealthy substances support the healthy function of many of the body's vital organs.
When you drop off a box of clothes you'll receive a sample of some of the company's essential oils and some literature about the company.
