NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Euro RSCG New York announced today that Steve Doppelt and Steve Kashtan have joined the agency as Executive Creative Directors. Kashtan joins Euro New York from DDB New York where he served as a Creative Director. Doppelt joins Euro New York from Merkley + Partners where he served as Group Creative Director.
Euro's latest additions to the New York creative team join the agency following the appointment of Lee Garfinkel as Chief Creative Officer Global Brands, Euro RSCG Worldwide in January and his new post as Co-Chairman, Euro RSCG New York which was announced in April. Mr. Kashtan and Mr. Doppelt have collaborated with Garfinkel multiple times during their careers, at agencies including DDB, Lowe, and D'Arcy.
"I was so excited to join Lee here at Euro. We worked closely together on United Technologies, Valvoline, Subaru, NY Lottery and Mercedes Benz at DDB and Lowe," said Steve Kashtan. "To be part of what he is building at Euro is a great opportunity." Kashtan will work on two of Euro New York's banner accounts: Charles Schwab and Kraft foods.
Steve Doppelt worked with Lee Garfinkel at Lowe on Sprite, Heineken, Amstel Light and Sony. At Euro New York, Doppelt will focus primarily on Dos Equis. "I've always had great respect for Lee and his ability to build a creatively driven culture. Through my career he has been a mentor who has pushed me to do some of my best work," he said. "The chance to work with him on Dos Equis' 'Most Interesting Man in the World' campaign seemed like a perfect fit for us to join forces for a third time," he added.
"Our clients and colleagues are thrilled to welcome Steve Kashtan and Steve Doppelt to Euro New York," said Lee Garfinkel. "For me, it's all about bringing the smartest, most talented people together and serving our clients with the best team possible."
