EURO NEW YORK'S ENTRY FOR RECKITT BENCKISER 'SAVING WOOLITE' BRINGS IN SILVER EFFIE FOR HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES AND SERVICES, WOOLITE'S FIRST EVER EFFIE

NEW YORK, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Euro RSCG New York and Euro RSCG Tonic brought in three Effie awards for accounts based in the New York headquarters of Euro RSCG Worldwide.

Euro RSCG Tonic won two Effie Awards for work completed on behalf of its client, VESIcare.  VESIcare's Effies have been awarded in the 'Sustained Success' and 'Healthcare- RX' categories.  

This year marks the first time a health and wellness brand has ever won the 'Sustained Success' Effie, a special honor to recognize campaigns that have remained effective for 5 or more years.   Euro RSCG Tonic's work for VESIcare also marks the first time in 4 years that an Effie has been awarded in the 'Healthcare- RX' category.

Euro RSCG New York's 'Saving Woolite' Campaign for Reckitt Benckiser earned a Silver Effie in the Household Products and Services category.   Woolite needed to be bold in order to defy category conventions; and this surprising work ignited share growth immediately.   This is the first time Woolite has been honored by the Effies in the brand's 60 year history.
