WHO: EVA LONGORIA, will host PADRES CONTRA EL CANCER'S (PADRES), 12th annual fund-raising gala, "EL SUENO DE ESPERANZA" at the Tropicana Las Vegas. Actor and Comedian GEORGE LOPEZ will also, lend his support once again and act as the gala's Master of Ceremonies.
The evening will honor and recognize MATTEL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL UCLA and METTA WORLD PEACE from the Los Angeles Lakers for their philanthropic and inspiring contributions to the pediatric cancer community. Celebrity Award Presenters are Academy Award Nominee EDWARD JAMES OLMOS and three-time Olympic Gold Medalist KERRI WALSH JENNINGS. Guests will also be treated to live musical performances by Latin Grammy Award Nominees, ALEKS SYNTEK and SHAILA DURCAL.
