Evangelical Leaders Come to Israel on Friendship Visit

JERUSALEM, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- America's most prominent evangelical leaders were in Israel last week meeting with the top leaders of the nation on a special mission, arranged by Dr. Mike Evans - founder of the friends of Zion Heritage Center.

The group met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and reaffirmed their support for the state of Israel.  Netanyahu acknowledged his "inspiring friendship" with Dr. Evans and then thanked the group for their support, stating: "We have no better friends in the world and I mean that. It's not just a matter of speech.  It is a partnership that goes back centuries."

In December, President Donald Trump received the Friends of Zion Award from Dr. Mike Evans and the leaders on the trip who delivered 36% of the vote, in the Oval Office at an event attended by Vice President Pence, Senior Advisors Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump and faith leaders representing over 150 million Christians globally.

Netanyahu stated that: "Other countries with Christian friends of Israel should move their embassies to Jerusalem."
