EverFi CEO Tom Davidson Honored with African-American Leaders for Education Efforts

WASHINGTON, July 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- EverFi, Inc., the leader in critical skills education, today announced that its founder and CEO, Tom Davidson, has been honored with two joint resolutions commending his contributions to education by The World Conference of Mayors, The Alabama Conference of Mayors, The Historic Black Towns and Settlement Alliance, and the City of Tuskegee, Alabama.
Davidson was honored alongside distinguished African-American leaders including Dr. Michael Lomax, President and CEO of the United Negro College Fund, and the Honorable Kevin Johnson, Founding Past President of The African American Mayors Association, Former President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and Mayor of Sacramento, California.
The resolutions were adopted at the Salute to Historically Black Colleges and Universities Summit held at Tuskegee University on Friday, July 10. The event recognized a new partnership between The Historic Black Towns and Settlements Alliance (HBTSA) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
