NEW YORK, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyday Health, Inc. (NYSE: EVDY) and the University of Notre Dame today announced a collaboration on research aimed at helping women have healthier pregnancies and babies. The research will focus on women with a high incidence of low and very low birth weights, premature births, and infant mortality then provide these women with timely, high quality digital information and tools.
Everyday Health and Notre Dame will combine their data and technology assets to provide personalized digital content and tools as a supplemental intervention to improve prenatal care of mothers. As part of this collaboration, Everyday Health will provide researchers at Notre Dame's Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) access to customized digital health information and related data. iCeNSA researchers will integrate this digital information with a personalized health platform and measure the impact on health outcomes. The research will begin this summer and will be published throughout the coming year.
