NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Evidence Exchange, a national leader in e-discovery services to law firms and corporate law departments, today announced that it is has deepened its partnership with Equivio through a new enterprise license agreement. Based on this expanded agreement, Evidence Exchange will offer clients Equivio Zoom, an e-discovery platform for predictive coding and analytics, as a standard integrated component of its eDiscovery services offering.
Evidence Exchange was among the industry's first service providers to use Equivio Zoom technology. The enhanced integration flow combines Zoom with Evidence Exchange's patented ESI processing tool and kCura's Relativity review platform to provide clients a more efficient end-to-end e-discovery solution. The integration includes the use of Zoom's new Themes content analytics application for intuitive exploration of document collections.
"We have been using Equivio Zoom technology in a number of significant projects since the beginning of this year. Given the very impressive results, it simply made sense for us to integrate Zoom as a more standard part of our e-discovery workflow," said Michael Prounis, CEO and Co-Founder, Evidence Exchange. "While tailoring the flow to address specific case needs, we are confident that the integration of Zoom will allow us to streamline the document review process and reduce litigation costs for our clients."
Zoom combines Equivio's best-of-breed Relevance application for predictive coding, with advanced analytics including thematic analysis, near-duplicates, email threads and language detection. Zoom can be used for early data assessment as well as significantly reducing review set volumes and enabling prioritized review. The Zoom components are seamlessly integrated on a unified web-based platform for easy access and use. The unified platform approach eliminates the need for moving data between applications, shortening data handling cycles and reducing the risk of errors.
"We are delighted to expand the scope of our cooperation with Evidence Exchange, a recognized leader in electronic discovery processing technologies," said Amir Milo, CEO of Equivio. "Using Zoom's best-of-breed predictive coding and analytics applications, Evidence Exchange is able to reduce the time, risk and costs of the discovery process for its top-tier law firm and corporate clients."
