Experian Marketing Services strengthens its competitive edge with the appointment of Jon Williams as chief technology officer Williams to oversee global product development for CheetahMail, an industry-leading integrated email, mobile, display and social marketing platform

NEW YORK, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Experian Marketing Services, a leading provider of data, analytics and marketing technologies that help organizations target and engage their customers more effectively across both traditional and digital media, today announced that Jon Williams will lead the global technology and product strategy for Experian Marketing Services' CheetahMail®.

Williams will focus on managing the technology life cycle and product development for CheetahMail, including integrating with other data and technology assets of Experian Marketing Services' portfolio.

Prior to CheetahMail, Williams was CTO at Flat World Knowledge. He also held a position as the CTO for iVillage (a division of NBC Universal) and as CTO of Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Prior to Kaplan, Williams served as a CTO, consultant and technology architect for numerous media clients, including AOL Time Warner, Scholastic, Grey Healthcare, Interactive Imaginations, N2K/CDnow and Oxygen Media.

In 2008, Williams was named one of Infoworld's top 25 CTOs. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Melbourne University in Australia.
