Experiencing Financial Stress? Texas Credit Union Foundation Grant Helping Texas Families Get on Better Financial Footing
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas, Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Financial education fosters financial stability for individuals, families, and entire communities. Recognizing the importance of financial education, the Texas Credit Union Foundation (Foundation) has provided a substantial grant to the Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Greater Dallas to offer a series of financial literacy webinars on topics such as budgeting, managing credit, and the importance of saving and investing.
These free webinars will be available to families across Texas, and Foundation executive director Courtney Moran is encouraging credit unions to promote these webinars to their members and communities at-large.
"We are confident that these webinars will empower Texas families with the knowledge and tools they need to make smarter personal financial choices," notes Moran.
