HARRISBURG, Pa., May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital BlueCross is looking for "Faces of Fearless" – and your "fearless" story, submitted as a 60-second video or photo with a brief description, could earn you a cash prize of up to $1,000.
Inspired by Capital BlueCross' Live Fearless advertising campaign, the company has launched a contest titled "Faces of Fearless" which invites residents to share what living fearless means to them and how health insurance empowers them to live that way.
"Fearless is about living life with confidence, even stepping out of your comfort zone, thanks to the security that health insurance provides," said Jason Kirsch, Capital BlueCross senior director of Communications and Brand. "Maybe it's learning a new talent you've been hesitant to try. Maybe it's taking a leap to turn that spark of an idea into a fledgling business. Maybe it's using strength you gained from getting through a tough situation to help others get through theirs. There are so many 'fearless' stories to be told and, through the 'Faces of Fearless' contest, we look forward to shining a light on them."
Contest entries, in the form of either a 60-second video or a photo with a brief description (up to 150 words), can be submitted on Capital BlueCross' Facebook page at facebook.com/capbluecross or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
One grand prize winner will receive $1,000. Three runners-up will each receive $500. Entries must be received by June 6, 2014.
Entrants must be at least 18 years old, must reside in Capital BlueCross' 21-county central Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley service area, and do not need to be a customer of Capital BlueCross.
Additionally, every person who visits Capital BlueCross' Facebook page and votes for their favorite "Faces of Fearless" contest entry from June 11-18 will be entered to win one of five $100 prizes.
