Fairmount Minerals Named Master Innovator

CHESTERLAND, Ohio, Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fairmount Minerals announced today the company was named Master Innovator by Smart Business, a Cleveland-based multimedia company, September 24 at the 2013 Innovation in Business conference. Smart Business recognized Fairmount Minerals' Business Innovation team for its innovative strategies, bold goals, and successful ideation advancement.

Today, more than 100 unique ideas, from Fairmount Minerals' family members, move through the innovation process, generating a sustainable development saving of nearly $60,000.

The Master Innovator award is part of the Smart Business Innovation in Business^® awards. The awards recognize northeast Ohio's innovative organizations and leaders. All honorees, including those in two other categories—Rising Stars and Visionaries—are featured in the September editions of Smart Business Cleveland and Smart Business Akron/Canton.
