MINNEAPOLIS, May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fallon today announced an expanded agency of record relationship with its seven-year client H&R Block by adding media planning and social media strategy and creative to its existing brand strategy and creative responsibilities with the tax brand.
The decision to grow the agency partnership follows the strongest growth year since 2011 for H&R Block. Fallon supported the brand's 2017 season with the launch of a new advertising campaign featuring actor Jon Hamm. The "Get Your Taxes Won" campaign helped promote Block's interest-free loan and free, do-it-yourself tax preparation, and introduced a transformational new technology partnership with IBM Watson.
"Fallon continues to impress with creative ideas and business solutions. This expanded partnership will allow us to better integrate creative and media across channels, so we are very excited about this next chapter of our relationship," said Kathy Collins, chief marketing and strategy officer for H&R Block.
A collaborative Publicis Groupe team will support H&R Block's media, creative and social business. In addition to Fallon's media planning and social strategy, MediaVest | Spark will handle broadcast media buying, and SapientRazorfish will lead digital media management.
"Seven-year client relationships are rare, but our partnership with H&R Block continues to grow stronger, as evidenced by this year's performance fueled by creativity and innovation. The spirit of trust and collaboration that exists between our two companies creates the environment in which transformational thinking can occur," said Fallon CEO Mike Buchner.
