FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia weekly, the Falls Church News-Press, announced its endorsements in August 23 primary races in its primary distribution area in an editorial (tinyurl.com/4yp2ut2) in its edition today.
The News-Press, in its 20th year of weekly publication, endorsed the following candidates, all in Democratic primaries in Tuesday's election: for Arlington-Falls Church Commonwealth Attorney—Theo Stamos; for 31st State Senate District—Jaime Areizaga-Soto; for 30th State Senate District—Del.
