Family of 10 Completes Cycling Vacation across the U.S. Paid with Profits Earned Trading Currencies
Boston Traders Summit Begins
BOSTON, Oct. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- After cycling nearly 4,000 miles on a coast-to-coast trip to show how easy it is for people to trade currencies, Shawn Lucas and his family of 10 arrived today at the Boston Harbor. Lucas paid for the family trip with more than $15,000 in profits earned trading currencies each day of the trip, which began on July 15 at Cape of Disappointment, Wash.
Lucas will conduct a Traders Summit in Boston to teach currency fundamentals Monday – Wednesday.
Lucas, CEO and founder of Apiary Fund (www.apiaryfund.com), set out on a 100 day, 19 city, 4,000 mile, coast-to-coast cycling trip called Pedals and Profits and endured heat, cold, sickness, bad weather, mechanical break downs, the markets and still paid for the entire trip from the income he made trading.
"It has been a wonderful trip," said Lucas. "We have traded in some very unusual and interesting places and we have seen some of the most beautiful sites this country has to offer. We've also been able to show how easy it is to make an income trading currencies by making enough on our own to pay for the trip."
Each morning during the trip, Lucas spent time trading currencies from a Level 2 Apiary Fund account. The Apiary Fund is a proprietary trading firm that trains people from the ground up to trade foreign currencies. With no investment required and no personal market risk, traders can trade using Apiary's money and share in the profit of successful trades. People only pay for the training courses to learn how to trade.
The goal of Pedals and Profits is to show that anyone can learn the skills of a professional trader to either supplement their current income or create a new income.
"It is easy to learn how to be a successful trader," said Lucas. "That doesn't mean, however, you will win every time. We had several losing days, but overall we had mostly profitable days and made a significant profit."
Immediately on the heals of his arrival in Boston, Lucas and his team are conducting a 3-day live Trader's Summit. The summit will include seminars and lectures on foreign exchange trading concepts, practice trading and live trading. The event is open to the public by registering at www.apiaryfundsummit.com.
In addition to presentations from trading professionals at the Apiary Fund, participants will be involved with live trading sessions, market fundamentals training, trading methods and systems, and risk management psychology.
Located in Provo, Utah, Apiary Fund is a private company with a unique trading platform combining a brokerage, commercial finance education and proprietary funds. Apiary trained traders use Apiary's money to make trades and share in the profits. Other than course tuition, there is no personal investment or risk. www.apiaryfund.com
