Farmers Insurance State-of-the-Art Mobile Catastrophe Claims (MCC) Bus to Stop at Pennsylvania Capitol, Thursday, Sept 27 @ 10:00 a.m.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance, one of the nation's top insurers, will take one of its industry-leading catastrophe response vehicles to the steps of Pennsylvania's State Capitol on Thursday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  While there, all are invited to free tours, explanations of its technological prowess and stories of its deployments – including some of the nation's worst natural disasters.

The Farmers MCC is 46 feet long and 13 feet wide and has state-of-the-art satellite communications equipment, plus food, supplies, water, cold and hot drinks for everyone.  Also on board are satellite laptop computers and satellite phones for use at disasters.
