Fashion Designer Kaitlin Germain Featured During NYFW in StylePointe Fashion and Dance Event

NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion meets dance in a unique forum to be held during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in New York City next month. StylePointe, an exploration of the relationship between fashion and dance, kicks off its annual show with a pairing of fashion designers and choreographers in a hybrid performance which includes a ramp to cat-walk and a space to dance. Among the featured designers is recent Fashion Institute of Technology BFA Fashion Design Graduate Kaitlin Germain whose inspired fashion collection will be worn by four of the dancers during the program. StylePointe is a platform for emerging fashion designers to showcase their fashions in collaboration with dance choreographers during New York Fashion Week. Producer Sangeeta Yesley invited fashion designers with complete collections to submit work samples. Five wonderful collections were selected from designers with diverse backgrounds. The designers' work was introduced to five choreographers who represent varied dance styles, who have created different dance vignettes to showcase the fashion collections.
