Fifth Third Securities Welcomes Michelle Griffith as Area Sales Manager and Vice President

CHICAGO, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Fifth Third Securities in Chicago is excited to welcome Michelle Griffith as Area Sales Manager and Vice President. She is responsible for the Eastern Gateway region in the Chicago market and report directly to James Fredrikson, Senior Brokerage Sales Manager of the Midwest region of Fifth Third Securities.

Griffith brings more than 17 years of financial industry experience to her new role, in which she will be responsible for driving business growth and market share through investment and insurance initiatives. She will be leading a team of 18 Investment Executives and Licensed Sales Assistants – all of whom are working diligently to meet their goals in today's difficult economy.

"Michelle brings extensive experience as a producer," said Fredrikson. "Her Capital Markets and Wealth Management skills will add significantly to the Chicago team."

Prior to joining Fifth Third Securities, Griffith served as an Area Sales Manager for a FORTUNE 100 institution.. While in that role, she oversaw a team of wealth managers that provided advice and service to clients with more than one billion dollars of assets under management. Before that, Griffith ran a successful practice as a financial advisor for the institution located in Calumet City, Ill. for the organization

Griffith earned her bachelor's degree in Finance from Illinois State University and her MBA from Olivet Nazarene University. When she's not working with her team, Griffith enjoys serving in her local church, Advocate United Church of Christ, and has served on the Board of Directors for Beacon Therapeutic Diagnostic Services – an organization that provides resources for families and children that are economically disadvantaged – for five years.
