Fifth Year of Fantastic Food, Fabulous Cars & Fine Wine to Raise Funds for Leukemia and Neurofibromatosis Fight, Budding Chefs
Garden Party Foundation's goal: Raising awareness for charity and the need for philanthropic giving
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fantastic food, fabulous cars and fine wine will be served up at the fifth annual Garden Party, a fundraiser to help fight leukemia and neurofibromatosis and assist budding chefs. The event will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the beautiful grounds of Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan.
The event will raise money for three organizations, Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, Children's Tumor Foundation and Oakland Community College's Culinary Studies Institute.
"The Garden Party is a terrific opportunity to show support for families battling leukemia and help give them hope, as well as open the doors of opportunity for emerging talents who could be the Next Top Chef," said Sydney L. The Garden Party will feature fare from 30 of Michigan's best restaurants including Andiamo Restaurant Group, Beverly Hills Grill, The Epicurean Group, Kruse and Muer, The Rugby Grille and Trattoria Stella, among others. The exquisite cuisine offered during the affair will be paired with 100 of the finest wines, classic car display and live entertainment.
