First-Ever Rawlings Platinum Glove Award™ Fan Vote Underway

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At the conclusion of the 2011 Rawlings Gold Glove Award® winners announcement show on ESPN2's "Baseball Tonight," Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. a subsidiary of Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH), unveiled the first-ever Rawlings Platinum Glove Award™ fan vote to find out who the best defensive baseball player is among this year's Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners.

Voting began at the conclusion of the exclusive ESPN2 broadcast on Rawlings Facebook page (www.facebook.com/rawlings).  

Tuesday night's show was the first time Rawlings announced the annual defensive excellence award program in a Hollywood award show-type format.  The sporting goods company plans on expanding and refining the on-air presentation and its online media extensions.
