First Industrial Realty Trust Announces Redemption of All Outstanding Series F and Series G Flexible Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock

CHICAGO, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), a leading owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, today announced that it will redeem all 50,000 of its outstanding depositary shares relating to its Series F Flexible Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock.  The redemption price will be $1,000 per depositary share plus all accumulated and unpaid distributions to and including the date of redemption, March 6, 2014.

The Company also announced that it will redeem all 25,000 of its outstanding depositary shares relating to its Series G Flexible Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock.  The redemption price will be $1,000 per depositary share plus all accumulated and unpaid distributions to and including the date of redemption, March 31, 2014. 

The depositary shares should be presented and surrendered by mail at the office of the Paying Agent, Computershare Trust Company, Attn: Corporate Actions, 250 Royall Street, Canton, MA 02021.  The settlement of the redemption of the Series F Flexible Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock is expected to occur on March 6, 2014.  The settlement of the redemption of the Series G Flexible Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock is expected to occur on March 31, 2014 Questions relating to the notice of redemption and related materials should be directed to Computershare via telephone at 1-855-396-2084.
