United Kingdom, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Many people talk about how YouTube videos can go viral. However, not everyone would think that an 8-year old girl can create a sensational hit. Fitri Cerado, the Filipina singer, winner of last year's talent show in Indonesia does not make videos to become famous and make more money for her. As soon as she visited the Nur Iman Orphanage in Indonesia, the country where she currently lives with her parents, she knew that those children needed her on their side.
The talent of the 8-year old singer is now put into good use, and while she works hard in school, she is rushing to the studio or singing lessons to create more content for her YouTube Channel. The latest hit: "Adele: Someone Like you" has been such a sensation on YouTube that she already has more than 1600 subscribers to the newly created channel. She has more than 2200 likes on Facebook and over 300 people mention her regularly. People talk about her on Twitter, and she is still that shy little girl with that big voice and a big heart.
The videos of Fitri move people because they know that behind the powerful voice there is the meaning of music and the intention to help. Since she won the SuperWani 2 talent show last year, she hasn't had a rest. She has opened her own ITunes store, released her Christmas charity single, set up her own charity that sends all the donations to UNICEF in the region and has created dozens of videos. "I can't stop until there are no children suffering in the world." Fitri says looking up with her big brown eyes, and I see that she means it. When I think about people who could easily help and do not, and I compare them to Fitri, I see power and faith.
Fitri Cerado enjoys performing contemporary songs, as well as gospels. Her charity cover of The Lord's Prayer has made people comment from all over the world. Her voice moves hearts, and she wants to use it to help others.
We have seen many talented children recently appearing in talent shows, but it is evident that Fitri Cerado is different. She is motivated by the will to help, and she trusts God to help her along the way. She is planning to raise $5000 for UNICEF projects in Indonesia and the Philippines, and collect $2000 for the Nur Iman Orphanage from her site's music download sales. In the end, she adds: "I will continue to sing as long as I can to serve as inspiration to my fellow children." And all I can say is: Amen
