EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SorinRand LLP today announced prestigious awards to two of its partners, David J. Sorin, Managing Partner of the firm, and Susan Okin Goldsmith, Chair of the firm's Technology Transactions Practice, who were named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list. In addition, firm associates Nichole E. Martiak, Scott M. Smedresman and Lindsay M. Sorin have been named NJ Rising Stars of the legal profession.
The NJ Super Lawyer list is comprised of not more than 5% of the lawyers in the state in about 70 practice areas recognized for their achievement of a high level of peer recognition and professional accomplishment based on peer nomination and evaluation as well as independent research. The NJ Rising Stars list is limited to lawyers who are 40 years old or less or have been in practice for 10 years or less and is comprised of no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state. The Rising Stars selection process mirrors that of NJ Super Lawyers. SorinRand is proud that five of its NJ-based attorneys have been honored for their outstanding work this year.
"The selection of our lawyers, several of whom have been recognized in multiple years, for these prestigious awards is evidence of the value-added service that characterizes this firm. Our lawyers provide businesspersons' pragmatism and sophisticated, creative solutions at a compelling value proposition to SorinRand's client base. We are pleased with the recognition, and will continue to provide sensible solutions to start-up, emerging growth and middle market enterprises," commented David J. Sorin, Managing Partner of SorinRand.
