The community is being built at the site of the former National Plastic Products/Nevamar Plant that produced everything from paintbrush bristles and Barbie doll hair to laminates for countertops.  The site, which sat vacant for several years, was acquired between 2006 and 2008 by StonebridgeCarras, LLC for future redevelopment. Located within the core of the Odenton Town Center, with proximity and easy access to Fort Meade, Flats170 will soon offer vibrant new housing to the growing area.

Flats170 at Academy Yard consists of 369 apartments residences within seven buildings. There are more than 30 spacious, open floor plan layouts to choose from, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options.
