About Fontanot

Fontanot is a leading Italian company with a passion for creating solid, functional staircase products combined with stylish contemporary designs. We are proud of our established heritage, have over 40 years of experience in the industry and have been commissioned to install statement staircases for clients across the world.

In the 1970s, the company set out on a journey to transform the staircase by combining functionality and aesthetics, with the aim of revolutionising the living space. The turning point came when Enzo Fontanot, the current president, joined the company, giving life to Albini & Fontanot, the first company to transform a craftsman's way of making spiral and open staircases into an industrial process. The company patented the Fontanot 2:Easy tread system, a pioneering staircase concept. Thanks to the innovative ergonomic shape of the alternate treads, they are more comfortable and safer than any other indoor spiral staircase.

Fontanot offers a vast array of products renowned for their quality, durability and ease of assembly, all informed by decades of commercial success.
