Former Constellation Energy CRO, JP Morgan Chase Risk Management Executive, Brenda Boultwood, Joins MetricStream as VP of Industry Solutions

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MetricStream, the market leader in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions, today announced that Brenda Boultwood has joined its executive team as the Vice President of Industry Solutions. Boultwood will be responsible for a portfolio of key industry verticals, including Energy and Utilities, Federal Agencies, as well as strategic Banking and Financial Services customers, and will help lead the company's growth in these sectors.

Boultwood comes to MetricStream with extensive experience in risk management, and has held several key operating roles at some of the largest global organizations. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Constellation Energy (now Exelon Corporation). Prior to that, she served as Global Head of Strategy, Alternative Investment Services, at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. She was also Global Head of Strategic Risk Management for the company's Treasury Services group and Global Business Head, Global Derivative Services for its Alternative Investment Services group.

Prior to that, at Bank One Corporation, she served as Head, Corporate Market Risk Management and Counterparty Credit, and Head of Corporate Operational Risk Management, before advancing to Head, Global Risk Management for the company's Global Treasury Services group. Brenda has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Chemical Bank.

Boultwood is a recognized industry thought leader in risk management, and served as a member of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Technology Advisory Committee, and also served on the Board of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).  She currently serves on the Board of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO).  She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from City University of New York, as well as a degree in International Relations from the University of South Carolina.
