Former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Lt. Gen. Patrick M. Hughes, joins Hazelwood Street Consultants, LLC
MIAMI, Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hazelwood Street Consultants, LLC is honored to announce that the former director of the United States Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Lt. General Patrick M. Hughes, has joined Hazelwood Street Consultants, LLC as our Senior Consultant.
He is available for Principal and Senior Executive Service Level consultation to all of our clients, and will assist Hazelwood Street in retaining and growing its preeminent position as the leading global kidnap for ransom and extortion response and intelligence analytics firm.
His decade's of experience support our mission and will immediately allow Hazelwood Street to innovate, expand, and provide the most robust and comprehensive KRE, Marine Piracy, as well as other IC and National Security focused services available to select clients.
Pat, who was the Assistant Secretary for Intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) joins Hazelwood's Chairman, Ambassador Cris Arcos, with whom he also served at DHS and elsewhere, as well as many other former senior level Intelligence and Law Enforcement officers, and analysts who make Hazelwood Street the leader in its respective fields of core competence on a daily basis.

General Hughes, a retired United States Army officer served our nation as the 12th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Previously, he was the Director of Intelligence (J-2) of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and was the Director of Intelligence (J-2) at United States Central Command. He was the Commanding General of the United States Army Intelligence Agency, and served as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, United States Army.
He joined the United States Department of Homeland Security in 2003 at its stand-up as the Assistant Secretary for Information Analysis (Intelligence).
