Former NYC Commissioner Of Small Business Services, Robert Walsh, Joins theCOMMSapp As Senior Advisor, Government And University Relations
NEW YORK, July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- theCOMMSapp™ and its family of communications app building solutions today announced that Robert Walsh will join the company as a senior advisor. In this capacity, he will work with the theCOMMSapp as it expands into new product verticals including government and higher education.
Walsh served as Commissioner of the New York City Department of Small Business Services during the entire administration of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (January 2002 – January 2014). Before joining the Bloomberg Administration, he served as president of the North Carolina Charlotte Center City Partners where he was responsible for restructuring the economic development organization. Walsh currently serves as faculty director of the Executive Masters in Public Administration Program at the City University of New York, Baruch College, School of Public Affairs.
