The article points out that, at only 31 years old, Koelemeyer is a rising star in the insurance industry. Four years ago, Kevin and his business partner Kagen Cooksley launched the independent agency, Regency Insurance Group in Fort Myers. Kevin's self proclaimed competitiveness and determination has helped him grow the company and continue to see success over the years.

Kevin told The News-Press that the best business advice he's received was given to him by an outside manager when he worked at Copperleaf Country Club. This advice was, "You're either moving forward or you're moving backward."
"So I wake up every morning, our team wakes up every morning, constantly trying to move forward," added Koelemeyer. "Always doing what's right. There are going to be tough calls you're going to have to make in life, whether it's with your customers or one of your insurance partners, with a co-worker, but you have to do what's right every single time, no matter what."
