The customer cited the technology's superior, template-free extraction rates that created significantly higher levels of automation than competitive offerings. The Distiller Visibility module will serve as an archiving application for invoices, and support the company's goal of increasing operational transparency in accounts payable. Furthermore, the application will support lean manufacturing initiatives, freeing up headcount for other value-added functions as the company transfers accounts payable verification duties to a shared services center.
"This customer is a world-recognized leader in the manufacturing industry, with a complex operation that must meet the specifications and regulations of countless unique markets," said Carl Mergele, Chief Executive Officer at Brainware. "In addition to offering the most capable technology for integrating with legacy ERP systems, Distiller's ability to reconcile VAT and line item detail, as well as automate invoices from myriad countries and languages, makes it a true global solution for document processing."
