Four More MLSs Join MetroList Services, Inc. and i-Tech to Link Listing Detail Records from Source MLSs via Move, Inc.'s FIND(SM) Application A growing group of MLSs are enabling their subscribers to access listing details at the source MLS through the FIND Application
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroList Services, Inc. (MetroList®) and i-Tech MLS – a joint venture of the Glendale Association of Realtors® and the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors® – today announced that the Bay Area Real Estate Information Service, Inc. (BAREIS MLS®), the San Francisco Association of Realtors® (SFAR), the Sutter Yuba Association of Realtors® (SYAR) and the Nevada County Association of Realtors (NCAOR) have all agreed to become part of the industry-first agreement providing reciprocal deep linking to multiple listing service (MLS) content via the FINDSM application, a service of Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE).
The Bay East Association of Realtors®, Inc., the Contra Costa Association of Realtors®, Inc., and East Bay Regional Data, Inc., have agreed in principle to also become part of the reciprocal deep linking group. Once implemented, more than 47,000 users across 19 counties will be able to access detailed listing information from network MLSs from the source MLS within the FIND application.
FIND is proprietary software for MLSs that provides property centric data on more than 120 million real estate parcels in the United States, and offers agents and brokers access to timely, accurate and reliable listing information across MLS boundaries. The MLSs participating in the reciprocal deep linking agreement provide their agents and brokers with an additional layer of listing detail, including contact information and showing details about a listed property at the source MLS.
"We are delighted to see the FIND deep reciprocal linking technology facilitating the collaboration among these innovative MLSs to provide deep listing information from the source MLS for their agent and broker customers," said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Move. "These agreements allow the participating MLSs to deliver accurate, detailed and timely information to agents and brokers throughout the reciprocal network -- a marketable differentiator for Realtors® in their service to buyer and seller clients."
Any MLS may participate in a deep reciprocal link network by contracting with Move for the FIND application, becoming a party to a reciprocal deep linking agreement between participating MLSs utilizing the FIND application, and implementing the technology on their MLS system. The FIND application is available to members of MLSs nationwide.
"We are pleased to welcome our regional MLS counterparts into our reciprocal access network, and to expand this key service across state lines," said Tom Beede, president and CEO of MetroList. "Reciprocal deep linking is the most cost effective way to deliver access to for-sale property information with the highest level of data integrity. MetroList will continue to leverage emerging technology for innovative data-sharing solutions with our existing network, and we look forward to sharing this valuable connection with future MLS technology partners."
