Fourth Annual Grid-Interop Conference Setting Smart Grid Interoperability and Standards

CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Driving the standards and interoperability roadmap for the rapidly expanding Smart Grid, government, industry and academic leaders will convene at the Grid-Interop Conference on Nov. 30 through Dec. 3 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

Held in partnership with the GridWise Architecture Council, NIST and the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), Grid-Interop is the annual event where industry experts, utility stakeholders and policy makers discuss, debate, and determine the path to create interoperable systems and technology for the Smart Grid.

This conference, now in its fourth year, is the most in-depth technology conference focused on Smart Grid interoperability standards in the industry, attracting key players from the electric utilities, software, cable, semiconductor, telecommunications and electricity consumer sectors.
