The mall is teaming up with the Playboy Jazz Festival on June 2nd to host the second concert in the series, held in conjunction with the upcoming 35th Anniversary Playboy Jazz Festival. 1+One will be performing, featuring Grammy-nominated artists Patrice Rushen and Ndugu Chancler, with special guests Paul Jackson Jr. and The Harmony Project. "Our free summer concert series has been extremely well-received by the local community, and we are proud to enhance the BHCP Live! programming as it enters its fourth year," said Sharron King, General Manager of Baldwin Hills Crenshaw. "We have an on-going partnership with the Playboy Jazz Festival and we are looking forward to hosting some extremely talented artists on our outdoor promenade this summer. We encourage our neighbors to come out and enjoy the show!"
Both concerts begin promptly at 5pm, with seating starting at 4pm. Outdoor seating on the promenade is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.
Food will be available for purchase at the performances, with offerings by local restaurants including Buffalo Wild Wings, Southern Girl Desserts, Fatburger, and several others.
