Free Tots For Life for National Rock the Tot Champion

ADDISON, Texas, June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday, June 24th the top five winners from the first round of Bar Louie's annual "Rock the Tot" tater tot eating contest will gather at Bar Louie Cleveland to compete in the National Championship for the title of 2012 Rock the Tot Grand Champion.

Bar Louie locations around the country hosted their first round "Rock the Tot" tater tot eating contests on June 7th, where solo competitors faced off in a challenge to eat as many tater tots possible in six minutes. Every location crowned their own local champion who won a trophy, champions T-shirt, $250 Bar Louie gift card and Free Loaded Tots for a year. All local results were then submitted to BL Restaurant Operations, LLC and the top five winners were determined; Bob Kuhns of Pittsburgh, Chance DeWerth of Cleveland, Randy Santel of Kansas City, Jamie McDonald of Providence and Roland Alvarado of Ft. Worth are now headed to Cleveland, OH for a fun filled weekend they won't soon forget.

With the exception of the hometown hero, Chance De Werth, Bar Louie is flying the winners into Cleveland on Saturday, June 23rd to tour the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and followed by a VIP dinner and drink show at Bar Louie Cleveland hosted by Bar Louie's Beverage Director, Blake Rohrabaugh.

The "Rock the Tot" National Championship will take place the next afternoon where the top five winners will be competing for more than bragging rights. The Grand Champion will receive a trophy, Heineken electric guitar, $500 Visa gift card and Free Loaded Tots for life at Bar Louie.

The festivities kick off at 1:30 pm with the competition beginning at 3 pm. Guests are encouraged to come early and grab their spot to cheer on their hometown hero in the tater tot eating mayhem. At the conclusion of the competition, the celebration continues at Bar Louie with live entertainment all night.
