Fundraising Technology Platform GiveGab Sees Over 1,400% Increase in Donations Processed on #GivingTuesday
ITHACA, N.Y., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Yesterday GiveGab successfully launched three state-wide #GivingTuesday movements for New York, Illinois, and Oregon, along with a multi-college Giving Day for the City University of New York (CUNY), collectively bringing in over seven million dollars to participating organizations.
With donations to these events continuing to filter in, New York Gives Day has realized $3.5 Million so far, #ILGive (Illinois) $2.5 Million, Oregonians Give over $500K, and CUNY Tuesday also realized over $500K. On #GivingTuesday, GiveGab processed 12,094 gifts from 11,041 donors to 1,056 nonprofits across the country.
GiveGab has seen rapid growth in Giving Days, quickly advancing from two annual Giving Day partners twelve months ago to more than fifty today. These partners include the aforementioned days, along with The Big Give (San Antonio), Idaho Gives, Kentucky Gives, Cornell University, and many others.
